About Me
My name is Yasaman Ghasempour and this is my personal website.
I received my B.S. (with highest honors) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology (SUT) in Tehran, Iran in 2014. After graduating from Sharif University, I joined Rice University to pursue my M.S. and Ph.D. degrees. I am a member of Rice Networks Group working under the supervision of Dr. Edward Knightly.
Research Interests: My research interests are in the areas of Wireless Communications and Networking, Protocol design for next generation of wireless technology (5G), Information Theory, Cross-layer MAC-PHY protocol design and implementation, Cellular Networks and High Frequency (mmWave) protocols and applications.
